What is the best way to maximize the revenue from parked domain names?

For instance I have heard radio commercials for parked domain names but I always thought that was a violation of the aggregators terms of service.

1. You can do what is called- Cash Parking- from godaddy. Basically- they load up your parked page with links that they derive click through revenue- like google ad words. You still need to promote the site for it to get ranked- and for people to actually click on it to generate any revenue. Courtney Kostelecky

3. Most domain name parking companies do not allow outside promotion or linking to parked pages. Check your terms of service before you try anything. You should be able to select the keywords on your page, however most search engines will not index a parked page. The key is to have a good domain name that receives a lot of type in traffic.
4. Traffic on domains parked with with most aggregators can originate from two sources only: type in (direct navigation) traffic and existing search engine results / expired traffic. For instance if the domain name previously had a website with backlinks. All other types of traffic including bought traffic, traffic driven by PPC campaigns, traffic directed from hyperlinks are not permitted. Although I recently read in a forum that GoDaddy does allow PPC campaigns directed at parked pages. I would read their Terms of Service though before instituting a campaign though.
